The Pixel Watch 5 only launched in August

That price undercuts even the smaller 41mm Pixel Watch 5, which launched at $399.99, so the larger screen and longer battery now cost $70 less than the entry model’s launch price, and less than last year’s 45mm Pixel Watch 4 did at launch.

Longer is the right word, because the 45mm model delivers up to 40 hours on a charge, Google’s longest Pixel Watch battery life yet, so a full day of training followed by overnight sleep tracking fits comfortably on a single charge.

Topping up is quick too, with the included Quick Charge Dock adding 15 hours in just 15 minutes when paired with a 30W adapter. A short charge while you shower and get dressed is enough to carry the watch through the rest of the day.

All that time on the wrist is easier on the eyes with the domed Actua 360 display, which offers a 10% larger active area and reaches 3,000 nits, so stats stay readable even in harsh midday sun under scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass.

Workouts get the same attention, as custom plans let you set exact reps, weights and rest timers for strength sessions or build warm-ups and intervals for HIIT, cycling and running across more than 50 activities, with Google’s best Pixel Watch GPS mapping every route.

Between sessions, raising your wrist brings up Gemini to answer questions, the watch runs 20% faster than previous Pixel Watches, and alerts from a compatible Nest Cam or Nest Doorbell open the live camera feed right there on the display.
