‘Dangerous Liaisons’ (2022)
Rotten Tomatoes: 47% | IMDb: 5.8/10
As October comes to an end, Netflix has one more surprise for its subscribers, as Dangerous Liaisons was added to the streamer’s catalog on October 27. Loosely based on Pierre Choderlos de Laclos‘ novel of the same name, this Starz series documents the origin story of Marquise de Merteuil (Alice Englert) and the Vicomte de Valmont (Nicholas Denton), as they use seduction to control and manipulate those around them.
A stylish, eight-part origin story packed with charm and drama, Dangerous Liaisons sadly faced a cruel fate after its original run. Initially renewed for a second season, the series was then canceled by Starz, with reports of the search for a new home reaching a dead end. Four years later, the show has another chance at revival thanks to its arrival on Netflix, where fresh eyes can see the BAFTA-nominated favorite in all its colorful glory.

‘From’ (2022–Present)
Rotten Tomatoes: 96% | IMDb: 7.7/10
This weekend, Halloween will take over streaming, and Netflix has added one of the best horror shows of all time, ready for your spooky viewing pleasure. Thanks to a limited-time licensing agreement with Amazon MGM Studios, you can watch the first three seasons of From right now, as the residents of a small town are interrupted by a supernatural presence that intensifies at night.
Starring Harold Perrineau as Sheriff Boyd Stevens, this brilliant blend of sci-fi and horror has terrified and delighted audiences for four years on MGM+, and now Netflix subscribers get a taste of the terror. The fourth season is currently not available on Netflix, and with the fifth season confirmed to be the show’s last, there’s no better time to start your binge of From.

‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ (2023–Present)
Rotten Tomatoes: 95% | IMDb: 7.0/10
It isn’t just Amazon MGM completing deals with Netflix and bringing new content to the platform. Earlier this month, a new licensing agreement between Disney Entertainment and the streamer brought the first two seasons of Percy Jackson and the Olympians to the catalog, with Walker Scobell‘s mission to fight monsters and gods across America available right now.
Across its two seasons so far, Percy Jackson and the Olympians has grown from strength to strength, with the second installment earning the coveted perfect 100% rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. A binge-watch of this fantasy gem this weekend will get you in the mood for the upcoming third season, which adapts Rick Riordan’s The Titan’s Curse and is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on November 20.
