President Donald Trump’s Sunday rally in Michigan came to a halt only two minutes after he took the stage when a protester started heckling him from the stands.
“Oh, we have a paid protester!” Trump said.
He then looked on for a few seconds with an irritated look on his face as the MAGA crowd booed the agitator.
“Just get ’em outta here, please,” Trump said.
The crowd then broke into a loud cheer and “USA! USA! USA!” chant as the protester was hauled off.
At that point, Trump pivoted to mocking the protester and others like them, after he has dealt with a number of interruptions while doing his coast-to-coast tour to rally GOP support heading into the midterms.
He riffed:
You know they get paid $250, we found out, $250 paid by the Dumocrats and the Soros people and other people, and then they go to jail and the rest of their life they’re screwed. It’s horrible. It’s so stupid. A lot of times, I commute, I say, “Look, they’re young.” They go home, their mother gives ’em a smack in the face. “I voted for that guy, what are you doing?! What are you doing?” They go home and they do get beat up pretty bad.
The protester was not picked up by the Fox News cameras, but Right Side Broadcasting Network posted an X clip that showed the protester getting escorted out by cops. The tie dye wearing protester looked like a middle-aged woman or man — it was hard to tell — who flashed the “peace” sign with their right arm as they were being thrown out; the protester then started yelling a bit at the crowd as the “USA!” chant started.

Trump then returned to his main reason for being there — boosting Michigan Senate candidate Mike Rogers (R) and bashing his opponent, Abdul El-Sayed (D).
“I’m here to keep a Jihadist, Muslim Brotherhood member from becoming a United States Senator, and that’s the fact,” Trump said. “We’re not going to let that happen.”
